The Ramsey Academy joined in to spread the spirit of Christmas again this year by supporting the North Essex Christmas Present Appeal.  The school became a collection point for gifts, which will be delivered to local elderly residents and adults in our community who spend Christmas alone. 

Aspiration, Diversity and Endeavour Houses encouraged their students to club together to buy and donate gifts, which range from socks to shortbread, fleecy blankets to furry hot-water bottles!  Many items were also collected for the local food bank to help families in need at Christmas.  The House Captains (pictured) worked tirelessly to wrap up all the presents and are delighted with the huge pile of gifts, which will bring some happiness to our community.
