All students at Ramsey Academy are issued with a Record of Achievement. This is designed to document their journey through the school. These have been issued and are stored by the form tutors. Students are encouraged to add details and information, including termly reports and review sheets completed in tutor time. Students should add certificates that have been awarded throughout their time at school, demonstrating their academic achievements.
The aim is that students build a portfolio of their achievements whilst at the Ramsey Academy. This can be in school or out of school achievements. We are actively encouraging the students to bring in evidence from their achievements outside of school. Winning a league title with their sports team, achieving a new grade in their musical instrument, being awarded badges at Scouts and so on.
At Key stage 4, students will work with staff in PSHE lessons to create a CV and Personal statement to put in their Records of Achievement. These can be used for college applications and work applications, keeping all the important documents in a secure place. GCSE Exam results and any other qualifications can then be added as they are awarded.
We would like the students to use these records of achievement to showcase their achievements of their time at Ramsey and then present them at the end of their time with us.
